What our clients say

Alongside taking over our HR management ad interim at short notice, the team gave us reliable support in payroll and in day-to-day HR operations. vmh partners also improved our time management and developed a salary tool tailored to our needs, which makes handling the various collective and standard employment agreements and minimum wage rules considerably easier.

What impressed us most was the team’s strategic thinking, hands-on commercial understanding and genuine commitment. They sharpened our target customer segments and brought fresh impulses to our brand, collection and marketing strategy. Thanks to their in-depth knowledge of Asian markets, they turned complex strategic questions into clear decisions and a realistic path for our expansion. Working together was a great pleasure – I can recommend vmh partners without reservation.

Let’s talk

An HR function becomes a success factor when the courage and the willingness to allow change are there. When strategy, structure and people are in balance, and that triad is reviewed and developed regularly, HR strengthens the organisation noticeably and lastingly.

Our answers

From the first assessment through to implementation: answers to the questions we are asked most often.

How do we know that now is the right time to realign?

It is usually a set of recurring signals: decisions take too long, roles overlap, good people leave, or growth stalls despite full order books. You do not need a finished plan to talk to us – a first conversation is enough to work out whether and where something needs to change.

How does working with vmh partners run – and what does it cost?

We start with a no-obligation conversation to understand your starting position and your goal. Out of that comes a clearly defined approach with milestones and a transparent cost framework – from brief sparring to longer-term support. You decide how much support you need; we work pragmatically and hand responsibility back to your team as early as possible.

Why is external support worth it rather than doing it ourselves?

Your team knows the business – we bring the method, the experience from comparable situations and an unbiased outside view. That saves detours, prevents costly wrong decisions and creates pace without blocking day-to-day operations. And if a measure is not necessary, we say so too.

How do we set up our HR so that it genuinely moves the business forward?

We first look at what your strategy actually requires from HR, and then align structure, roles and processes rigorously with that. Instead of an off-the-shelf model, an operating model emerges that fits your size and your goals. That turns HR from an administrator into a tangible contribution to value creation.

How do we know which skills we will be missing, and how do we close the gap?

With a structured look at the competencies your business will need tomorrow, and an honest comparison with where you stand today. From that we derive where further training pays off, where reskilling makes sense and where you should hire or «borrow» in a targeted way. You get no theory, but a prioritised list of concrete steps.

How do we bring strategy, offering and organisation back into balance?

We start from the question of where you want to be in three to five years and check whether your offering and your set-up still carry that. Where strategy and everyday practice drift apart, we sharpen positioning, products and priorities. You get a direction that works not only on paper but in day-to-day business.

How do we reduce the risks of entering a new market?

By analysing properly before the leap: market potential, the legal and regulatory framework and the right set-up on the ground. We support you from the location decision through building the local organisation to ongoing operations. That way you make decisions based on facts rather than assumptions, and keep pace and cost in your own hands.

How do we create clear roles, responsibilities and decision-making paths?

We make visible where duplication, gaps or unclear responsibilities create friction today, and shape from that an organisation with clean interfaces. Governance means clear rules that speed decisions up. The result is less friction and faster implementation.
